Dan grew up watching his father build a successful 35-year career at Baird. It wasn’t preordained that he’d follow in his footsteps—but seeing the long-term relationships his father built, and the difference he made in people’s lives, planted a seed. Eventually, what began as a partnership became Dan’s own path.
Along the way, Dan has been named a Forbes Best-in-State Advisor (2022–2025), a Forbes Top Next-Gen Advisor (2017, 2018, 2021, 2022), and a FIVE Star Wealth Advisor by 5280 Magazine—an honor he’s received for 13 years running. But perhaps what he’s most proud of is this: After his father retired, the practice he built with his team was named a Forbes Best-in-State Team for the first time in 2025.
Dan has stayed committed to deepening his expertise. A graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Dan has also studied at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the Yale School of Management, and the College of Financial Planning, earning some of the industry’s highest designations.
Over the years, Dan has guided dozens of first-time hikers to the summit of Colorado’s 14ers. He’s guided many more clients toward long-term financial goals. He knows the payoff isn’t just in reaching the top—it’s in the clarity you gain along the way.

At home in Centennial, Colorado, Dan lives with his wife, Courtney, and their two children, Cal and June. He’s an avid golfer, skier, and backpacker, and if there’s a trip on the calendar, Dan’s the one booking the flights, mapping the route, and making sure the gear gets packed. You’ll also find his acoustic guitar in tow—he’s self-taught, and describes his style as “campfire good.”
